In order to provide improved information security, the following web page has been developed to provide an easy way to manage your passwords (Duke NetID, FuquaWorld, FuquaNet):

While there are future plans to further reduce the number of separate sign-on's required for your work, we have created this consolidated web page as a means of making password maintenance as easy as possible at this point in time.  We recommend using this web page to:

• Synch your passwords (setting them all to the same value)

• Keep one "strong" password (sufficiently long and containing a mixture of letters, numbers, and symbols)

Over the past few months, we have regularly experienced a large volume of external "attacks" on our systems from hackers trying to gain access to systems or individual accounts. We are continually working to improve our security systems and increase our monitoring and detection of these attacks.  Having a strong password is one of the best protections that users can make to secure their data.
