Fuqua IT has received several reports of a fake email that has been sent to many members of the Fuqua Community.

The Subject line of this email usually reads: "Account Alert".  Please ignore and delete this email.

This email is a scam that attempts to fool users into disclosing information about their personal email accounts by inviting them to click on a link. The link leads to a fake website or runs a virus on their local computer.

For future reference, please remember that Duke OIT and Fuqua IT do not ever gather information from end-users in this manner.
