Fuqua students are reminded that the I: drive is a temporary data-storage resource
This is a reminder that the I: Drive should never be used to store original data. The I: drive is not routinely backed up, and files can be deleted by anyone at Fuqua. You should always maintain a current copy of any data that you save to the I: drive in a separate location.
The best practice for saving and sharing data is to create a team in FuquaWorld. Creation of a team within Team Tools automatically creates a shared network space for sharing files, that only members of the team can access. These files are backed up daily.
Please contact the Technical Support Center at help@fuqua.duke.edu or 660-7878 for additional assistance in setting up shared file storage with Team Tools.
Thanks.
