Important note for Palm users

The Palm conduits required by Meeting Maker are now a separate installation.If you currently sync your Palm to Meeting Maker from your computer, you should upgrade the Palm conduits as well. While you will be able to sync with the existing conduits, it is not recommended to do so, nor has this been fully tested. It is recommended that you install the new conduits before your first sync after the upgrade. The new conduits have support for new Daylight Savings Time rules that must be in place prior to the Fall. To upgrade your conduits, or for a new install, follow these steps:

1. Download the PalmConduitInstall program from here.
2. Navigate to your download folder and double-click the downloaded file to explode the archive file. Accept the default location which is MMPalmSetup located below the download directory.
3. Navigate to the MMPalmSetup folder and double-click the setup file.
4. Click through the wizards accepting the defaults.
5. Select the conduits you wish to install: AddressBook is your contacts; DateBook is the calendar; ToDos is your todo list.
6. When prompted about restarting HotSync manager, click “Yes”

If this is a new install, please ensure you have the Palm desktop installed prior to running the PalmConduitInstall program. In addition, you will need to configure the conduits. Follow these steps:

1. From the system tray, right click on the Hot Sync manager and choose Custom.
2. Select meetingmaker DateBook and click Change
3. Under meetingmaker Settings, enter the following information:
   1. Login Name: Your Meeting Maker login name
   2. Password: Your Meeting maker password
   3. Server: Fuqua. Please note that the case is important!
   4. Protocol: Select SSL from the list, if it is not already selected.
   5. Timezone of Data on Palm: Select "USA Eastern (USA)" from the list, if it is not already selected.
   6. You may leave the other settings at their default values.
   7. Dismiss the dialog boxes by clicking “OK” and then “Done”
